SSBI provides Secondary School Scholarships that make it possible for kids to continue learning. We also refer to this as our Leadership Program, because this who we see emerging! Recipients score high enough to attend University, they have higher ambitions and often return to their village to help other students and contribute to their community.

Edwin has been a faithful and enthusiastic participant in the programs connecting Kenyan youth with youth here. We first met him when he was in primary school, and wanted to become a carpenter.  Since then we have supported him through secondary school, and he is hoping to become and agriculturalist.  This is a critical skill for youth in this rural environmentally rich area, and for the programs in crop and soil remediation that RKY has been leading.
