African Wedding Blank Size 6'x8'
Wedding BlanketsAfter being used by the Fulani people during the winter months, the majority of "khasa" blankets are sold to traders in spring, where they are repaired and then traded throughout other areas of West Africa. Thus, there are many second hand khasa blankets such as this one in existence today. The Ashanti use the second hand khasa blankets as a symbol of their status and wealth, for example, to cover drums, though they don't need to use the blankets in their warm climate.
